Theory Test
Test I and III Safe & Civilized Driving Knowledge Test, also known as Motor Vehicle Driving Theory Test or Driver Theory Test, are part of the motor vehicle driving license examination. According to Provisions on the Application for and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses, the test mainly covers basic driving theories, road safety laws and regulations, local regulations and other related knowledge. The test is conducted on computer and qualification is granted for those who scored 90 points or above.
The Wuxi Research Institute of the Traffic Police Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security provides the question pool for Test I, which contains 100 questions drawn randomly from the entire 1000 multiple-choice question pool.
The Wuxi Research Institute also provides the question pool for Test III, which contains 50 randomly drawn questions from the pool.

Now, most motorcycle driving test uses human judges and the passing rate is at about 100%. But there is a growing need for automatic assessment among local authorities.
If designated test vehicles with on-board sensors are adopted, Motorcycle Driving Test II can achieve automatic assessment across all the established criteria.
